What is #CSRshareDay?
April 22nd, 2016 Sustainable Event Alliance are supporting Positive Impact who will play a leading role in the organisation of the global initiative to share wisdom, ideas, challenges, best practices, case studies with sustainability experts from around the globe, about how to make events more sustainable.
So as part of the #CSRShareDay, the twitter-a-thon will be asking the global events community to play their part in support of worldwide efforts to keep global temperatures within the 2-degree limit set by the UNFCCC, to avoid the worst effects of climate change. We’ll be asking them to pledge creating effective strategies and policies to reduce the carbon impact of their event activities.
The global sustainable events chatter will be hosted each hour by a different person – but we want YOU to join in please please please! As a leader in event sustainability practice, it would be great to hear you opting in and spruiking your successes and opinions over the 24 hours – at any time that suits you – or have a look at the schedule and jump in when you can.
