Invitation Market Stall

Surfrider Foundation Eco Challenge Gold Coast invites you to be part of our “Plastic Free” Eco Market Village.

Surfrider Foundation Eco Challenge Gold Coast is a family friendly, sustainable, solar powered, plastic free, community, surfing lifestyle fundraising event on Saturday 1st of April 2017, from 7am – 2pm at Greenmount Surf Life Saving Club, Marine Parade & Hill Street, Coolangatta QLD 4225 during the Bleach*Festival. See https://www.facebook.com/EcoChallengeGoldCoast/

It’s all about enjoying the coast, protecting and promoting its health & fundraising for Surfrider Foundation Gold Coast Tweed Branch.

So we have created a great line-up of events to highlight this in all aspects, so that the whole family can enjoy and take something away from it. We call upon the local communities and friends from far and wide to engage, enjoy and protect what we love: the waves, oceans and beaches.

The day will be filled with excitement & things to do including:

• Live Music from headlining acts ALL DAY
• “The Worlds” ROOTS of Surfing Wooden Surfboard Teams Challenge
• Culture, Environmental, Musical and Kids activity workshops
• Guest speakers and environmental campaigns
• Eco Village Market & Food Stalls + more

The Village Markets have worked with the team at CWE for the past couple of years now, implementing their zero waste management system to assist us with our goal of becoming a zero waste event - something we have been working towards in our business for some time. The team have shared their knowledge, resources and Sundays with us and in turn, we have managed to reduce our landfill diversion quite substantially. Looking forward to seeing what we're capable of in this year!
